So far, this is my favorite warning about Jordan:
“When driving in both urban and rural areas, motorists should beware of both unmarked speed bumps and livestock, including camels, sheep, and goats. Collisions between livestock and automobiles are common.”
Our family should feel right at home. Here are some of the things we’ve hit while driving (albeit, while driving a tractor): A tree, a boulder, and a pond (ok, we didn’t hit the pond, we just fell through the ice of the pond).
Surprisingly, we haven’t hit any sheep or chickens yet. Remarkable, since they spend a lot of time in our driveway.
A friend recently warned someone not to speed on our rural Vermont highway because of the risk of hitting bear, deer or moose. Hopefully, we won’t have to dodge soccer playing sheep in Jordan.
